| I`m indebted to my Uncle who gave me a really old book called "MYTHS AND FOLKLORE OF BRITAIN" printed by Readers Digest. It dates to 1962 so could be considered old fashioned, but its a wonderful read.... |

Recently heard news that Blythburgh Church in Suffolk had a window smashed and several key items stolen. It was a well planned operation, down to the timing of entering the church after the floodlights had gone out!.
The reason i mention this is that this will obviously make the location difficult now for ghosthunting, even after the floodlights go out, because there will noe be extra vigilance by locals for any disturbance in the churchyard.
Blythburgh Church was the scene of chaotic drama in the late 1500`s when Black Shuck arrived and burnt two of the congregation, then left his footprint scorched into the North Door, where it can still be seen today...
